Blissful Unions is a day-of coordinator and wedding officiant based in Connecticut, offering a number of services to couples which can be customized to fit the needs of their big day.

"When I started my wedding day-of coordination business, it was born out of my deep passion for love, connection, and the magic that happens when two people commit to forever," says owner Desira Powell.

The mission is to handle the logistics so that couples can be fully present, soaking in every moment, while their guests are swept up in the beauty of their love story.  With careful planning and thoughtful execution, Blissful Unions works hard to ensure that each wedding day is stress-free, meaningful, and as unforgettable as the love it celebrates- not just for the couple, but their guests as well.

In a recent project, Powell describes how she was tasked to coordinate for a couple who wanted their day to feel like an intimate celebration of love, not just for them but for every guest in attendance. They prioritized meaningful details—handwritten notes for each guest, a candlelit ceremony that felt warm and personal, and a seamless timeline that allowed them to truly be present in every moment.

What made this project so special was seeing their vision come to life. From the moment guests arrived, there was a palpable sense of love and connection.
